Jeep Wrangler: Cooling System / Cooling System — Drain, Flush And Refill
NOTE:
Some vehicles require special tools to add
coolant properly. Failure to fill these systems
properly could lead to severe internal engine
damage. If any coolant is needed to be added to
the system please contact an authorized
dealer.
If the engine coolant (antifreeze) is dirty or
contains visible sediment, have an authorized
dealer clean and flush with OAT coolant
(conforming to MS.90032).
Check the engine, battery (if equipped),
intercooler (if equipped), and Motor Generator
Unit (MGU) (if equipped) coolant (antifreeze)
protection every 12 months (before the onset of
freezing weather, where applicable)...
NOTE:
Mixing of engine coolant (antifreeze) other
than specified Organic Additive Technology
(OAT) engine coolant, may result in engine
damage and may decrease corrosion protection...
Other information:
The Advanced Front Air Bag system has
multistage driver and front passenger air bags.
This system provides output appropriate to the
severity and type of collision as determined by the Occupant Restraint
Controller (ORC), which
may receive information from the front impact
sensors (if equipped) or other system
components...
NOTE:
Using a fuel filter that does not meet the manufacturer’s
filtration and water separating
requirements can severely impact fuel system
life and reliability. We recommend you use
Mopar® Fuel Filter. Must meet 3 micron rating.
CAUTION!
Diesel fuel will damage blacktop paving
surfaces...
