Jeep Wrangler: Red Warning Lights / Hood Open Warning Light
This indicator will illuminate
when the
hood is ajar/open and not fully
closed.
NOTE:
If the vehicle is moving, there will also be a
single chime.
This warning light warns of an
overheated engine condition. If the
engine coolant temperature is too
high, this indicator will illuminate and
a single chime will sound...
This warning light will
illuminate, and
a chime will sound, to indicate low
engine oil pressure. If the light and
chime turn on while driving, safely
stop the vehicle and turn off the engine as soon
as possible...
Other information:
To raise the head restraint, pull upward on the
head restraint. To lower the head restraint,
push the adjustment button located on the
base of the head restraint, and push downward on the head restraint. The release
button does
not need to be pushed to adjust the head
restraint...
While operating on gasoline with the required
octane number, hearing a light knocking sound
from the engine is not a cause for concern.
However, if the engine is heard making a heavy
knocking sound, see a dealer immediately. Use
of gasoline with an octane number lower than
recommended octane can cause engine failure
and may void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty...
