Jeep Wrangler: White Indicator Lights / Selec-Speed Control Indicator Light — If Equipped
This light will turn on when
“Selec-Speed Control” is activated.
To activate “Selec-Speed Control”, ensure the
vehicle is in 4WD Low and push the button on
the Instrument Panel.
NOTE:
If the vehicle is not in 4WD Low, “To Enter
Selec-Speed Shift to 4WD Low” will appear in
the instrument cluster display.
This indicator shows when the
HDC
feature is turned on. The lamp will be
on solid when HDC is armed. HDC can
only be armed when the transfer case
is in the “4WD Low” position and the vehicle
speed is less then 30 mph (48 km/h)...

driving force to both rear wheels and reduces
wheel spin caused by the loss of traction at one
driving wheel. If traction differs between the two
rear wheels, the differential automatically
proportions the usable torque by providing
more torque to the wheel that has traction...

electronically for abnormal conditions. If a
condition is detected that could result in
transmission damage, Transmission Limp
Home Mode is activated. In this mode, the
transmission may operate only in certain gears,
or may not shift at all...
