Jeep Wrangler: SAFETY / AUXILIARY DRIVING SYSTEMS
TSC uses sensors in the vehicle to recognize an
excessively swaying trailer and will take the
appropriate actions to attempt to stop the sway.
NOTE:
TSC cannot stop all trailers from swaying...
The BSM system uses two radar sensors,
located inside the taillights, to detect highway
licensable vehicles (automobiles, trucks,
motorcycles, etc.) that enter the blind spot
zones from the rear/front/side of the vehicle...
Other information:
The AXLE LOCK switch is located on the
instrument panel (to the right of the steering
column).
Axle Lock Switch Panel
This feature will only activate when the following
conditions are met:
Ignition in RUN position, vehicle in 4WD Low.
Vehicle speed should be 10 mph (16 km/h)
or less...
NOTE:
When the vehicle is stopped after a few miles/
kilometers of operation, you may observe vapor
coming from the front of the engine compartment.
This is normally a result of moisture from
rain, snow, or high humidity accumulating on
the radiator and being vaporized when the thermostat
opens, allowing hot engine coolant (antifreeze)
to enter the radiator...
